Las Vegas

I would have to say that Bill and I are pretty bad at doing the Vegas stuff... we didn't see a show, we didn't stay to watch the fountains at Bellagio, we didn't ride the gondolas at the Venetian, we didn't stay in line to take a picture with the famous Vegas sign, we didn't stay for the evening lights to come on, we didn't go to Fremont Street, we did not watch the pirate show, we didn't have a single drink or gamble at all... We did walk the entire strip from WestGate to Mandalay Bay which is over 6 miles round trip plus all the walking we did inbetween. We marveled at the unique buildings and viewed the famous sculptures and oddities. It was a quiet Tuesday at the strip - while there were several girls in costumes wanting to take a picture with you ($$) there were no street performers at all. Overall we got the feel of the strip and got out before it got too busy.

It did remind me of a wonderful vacation that Kim and I took here a few years ago when she was my tour guide for my first time in Vegas.
