Daytona

We had a nice week long stay in Daytona. The weather coorporated most days for a good walk on the beach, picking up shells and some laying in the sun by the pool days.

We took a drive along A1A down to Coco Beach and Cape Canaveral. We didn't tour the Space Center this time but had fun seeing the launch pad from a distance. We had to make a stop at Ron Jon's just to look around. Cute little Mexican place had some good nachos and we also stopped in at the Florida Key Lime Company for some yummie fudge.

We took a day to explore around Daytona. There were some fun areas to check out not far from us. We stopped at a small chocolate factory - Angell and Phelps. The Dunlawston Sugar Mill was beautiful. The Casements - John D Rockfeller's winter home and gardents were interesting. We also walked around the Ormond Art and Veterans Gardens - I loved the turtles! Then we had a great lunch at Ocean Deck - Bill had a huge burger!
