Laredo - Comstock

Up close to the Mexican border... it feels very different then even a few miles back into Laredo.   There are so many border patrol cars and the towns have a different... run down... feel to them.   Everything is quite brown and dry.  I wonder if it is just this time of year or South Texas also has had a bad drought.
