Pacific Grove 

We were determined to make the best of a rainy day (it never rains in California, right?) and set off walking along the Asilomar Coast Trail and onto the Pacific Grove Trail right along the ocean.  It was fun to see all the otters out fishing for their breakfast.  We walked for as long as we could until the cold rain drove us inside.  After that we got some steaming clam chower at Vivolo's Chowder House - highly recommend - to warm us up!.
