Monuments

Seeing the iconic buildings which we have seen in so many photos and so many times on TV... no words.

The black wall of the Vietnam Memorial is sooooo long... lots of things placed near their loved ones names - like flowers, letters of their death addressed to their mothers, symbols of their lives.

The Korean War Memorial was very striking. I haven't seen that before. The statues in the field felt very personal.
