New Bern

New Bern was a really nice walkabout town. We parked by the water and enjoyed watching all the birds and ducks. I love the bridge coming over! It is fun to see the marshes below. Those parked boats are really huge. Bern is an old Germanic word for bear. The town enjoys showing off their bears!

It is also the birthplace of Pepsi so we had to stop in and get a diet Pepsi where it was orginally made.

Finally back to the campground for a beautiful sunset.
