Hoover Dam and Boulder City

What an amazing structure Hoover Dam is!   No inside tours going on right now but still fascinating to view from the outside and read about how it was constructed.  So hard to see the water level this low... everywhere we go we have heard this.  I appreciated all the statues honoring the men (and dog) who worked on this marvel.  I think my favorite was the one of the man who had to clean all the outhouses for the workers - shown with his toilet paper strung across his back.  

Lake Meade was beautiful.   We also stopped in a park in Boulder City that has frequent Big Horn Sheep visiting from the nearby cliffs.
