Strafford

It is amazing to think it was just a few months ago we were saying good bye to the Pacific Ocean. We promised each other we would be back and remembered that it wouldn't be long before we were across the country seeing the Atlantic. And here we are! Here are photos of our day in Portsmouth. We also went a second day to Gloucester - Cape Ann.

We drove around Lake Winnipesaukee which was a fun drive. A few cute towns along the way so we stopped a few times to wander and take short hikes. We drove all the way up to Castle in the Clouds but there was a car show and so packed with NO parking so we just headed back down. We got to see a few glimpse of the castle and the view but I didn't take any photos because I was waiting for the very top. Bummer!

We drove to the White Mountain National Forest. The colors were stunning and we enjoyed driving and stopping now and then to admire them.

Lake Winnipesaukee
