Cave City

We had a great time in the Cave City area of Kentucky!  We explored Mammoth Cave National Park, the cave as well as some of the trails, and also went to see Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace.  The cave was “Mammoth” definitely.  Unfortunately, due to CoVid they are only allowing self guided tours which means they are only making it so you can go in just certain areas which meant Suzy and I didn’t get to see all it had to offer.   

We also visited the entrance to Sand Cave - such a tragic story of the events that happened here.  

Unfortunately we did not get into horse country but that will be another reason to come back to visit Kentucky!
