Channel Island National Park

We had a wonderful time taking the boat out to Channel Island.  It was great to be greeted by the indigenous bird and fox - they are only found on this island!  We made the long uphill climb to the top of the mountain.  It was fun day!  We have never seen so many dolphins!   The crew on the boat said it was likely between 2,000 - 3,000!   Hard to see in the picture but it was amazing! Off in the distance we could see the fires in LA.  So crazy - we were so lucky to not be impacted during our CA trip - but so sad for all that were.
