Thousand Islands

We were looking for a place to stay to break up our drive from Niagra Falls to Vermont. Bill found Thousand Islands and it was a great find! We had no idea it would be so fun!! We took a boat ride to see some of the many islands. To qualify to be an island it must have some grass and a tree of any size - that's it! Some of them were soooo tiny! The mansion that stands out is the Boldt Castle. It has such a tragic past as the visionary man who built it for his beloved wife never lived there.
