Air and Space MUSEUM

The Air and Space Museum is one of THE most popular places to go in DC.   We were surprised after all my research that it still requires timed entry tickets so instead of being first in the line up for the day - it was last.  That worked out fine but we were tired as we went through it!    

Very cool to see the hot air balloon designed but never built as a traveling city!   All the space gear was, of course, incredible to see and imagine.   We were memorized by seeing the actual first plane of the Wright brothers and are excited to go to Kitty Hawk later this month! 

I really liked the 'window' to the world as the astronauts would have seen it from space.
