Oatman

We visited Oatman in 2022 and again in 2024.  Bill said the drive up The Sidewinder road - 8 mile stretch with 191 curves - was way easier with the Escape then it was with the F250!  I will spare you the very sad story of why the city is named Oatman but it is a tear jerker if you are interested.  

The big interest in the tiny is getting here and then the mules that roam free begging for food.   It was food to visit both times.  The first time we stayed for the 'shoot-out' in the streets after the bank was robbed.  

It was a fun town to see the shops but really the drive and the mules are the big attraction.
