Cannon Falls

Our trip to Cannon Falls included a much needed rest from the excitment of hosting a baby shower/gender reveal party on July 5th for my son and his fiancée, Marzi.   It's a boy!  

Cannon Fall is a good time to slow down and enjoy the beautiful walking paths and parks along the water.  We enjoyed the campsite right on the river as well as a walk to the dam.  It was to sit by the water and enjoy.  We made a stop at the local bakery - thank you Mary T. for that suggestion.   We also had a good time at the Cannon River Winery -  good wines.   The next day at the Tilion Brewery we sat outside by the river and enjoyed the lovely views.  

We also had a great visit with some of my Southern MN cousins and sister.  Dan's Bar and Grill was a fun place to sit outside and the burgers were yummy - even though the road truck traffic was a bit loud.  Thanks for the suggestion, Barbara B!
