Hayward

Hayward Wisconsin was a great place to start our trac east to Door County.   We got a bit of the Wisconsin feel and quite of a bit of the  'up north' feels.   We drove by the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame but did not pay the admission fee although the huge Musky you can climb into looked fun!  We had a fun time at the Johnson Resort checking out the lake and having some adult ice cream drinks.  We also took a drive to Stone Lake - expecting it to be a bit bigger town than it was.   We did a short hike along the boardwalk until the mosquitoes found us.
