Panama City

We spent a full month in Panama City - that is something we haven't done in over 2 years!  It worked out well and we enjoyed exploring a lot of the State Parks in the area.

St Andrews was very cool with the bay area with the rock wall.  Grayton was fun to see with all the gorgeous white soft sand and the dunes.  Eden Gardens had a very interesting story about the beautiful house and gardens fill with Camillas.

We also enjoyed exploring Camp Helen with its huge number of shells and several other surrounding state parks and beaches such as Crystal Sands beach in Miramar.

We stayed at Majestic Beaches.  We had a studio which was a bit tight...even after just coming out of the RV.  But the location was nice and we enjoyed exploring.

Mexico Beach and Port Saint Joe

I took the same shot from our 8th floor balconey over several different days - the ocean is so magical and changing.   It was amazing to see how it changed color and moods!

February 2023

We went back in 2024 for another month at PCB.   We enjoyed it again in a different way - quieter - more time to relax.  We stayed at Panama Shores for this stay.

2024

We went to Panama City Beach for a 3rd year but stayed at another location - Boardwalk on the 18th floor.   Cindy came for a few days.  Kristina and Todd came for another few days.  It was great to have a nice space to enjoy with them.   We took them both to Helen Campground state park to look for shells.

Kristina wanted to go to the local zoo which turned out to be a great spot!   We enjoyed private time to hold capybara's (largest rodent in the world) and pet slothes and feed a giraffe.   Then Kristina and I took the boat out to Shell Island and explored there.

We do enjoy the area - now having some favorite spots - including finding El Weirdo tacos and bar this year!   The colors and fun atmosphere equal the delicious tacos and beers.
