California Coast - MONTEREY to Big Sur

With Billy and Cherice here, we decided to head back to the coast for a day - a LONG day for sure - from our location in near Sequioa!   But it was wonderful to be back at the Pacific Ocean once again.  We can never get enough of that turquoise color and the waves crashing on the rocks!

We took the 17 mile drive through Pebble Beach Golf Course.  We had no idea how extreme some of the holes are!!  It was gale force wind at the ocean and the waves were spectacular!  There was an area blocked off where the mommy and baby Harbor seals were resting in the sun. We peeked around the draping when we went by and caught a glimpse of them.  I included a picture of mama/baby - though it isn't mine - of what we saw.  So cute!!  All in all a very fun day.
